Overview of Vivotek IP8332
The Vivotek IP8332 is a cost-effective IP security camera designed for low-light outdoor surveillance in locations such as building entrances and car parks. The camera's switchable day/night filter allows it to produce high quality colour video during the day with crisp, infrared-sensitive monochrome footage at night, while the integrated IR LEDs illuminate objects in complete darkness, so that no event is missed.
Objects can be easily identified with 1-megapixel resolution footage, giving 4x clearer images than a comparable VGA resolution camera. The camera's IP66-rated casing also allows footage to be captured outdoors by preventing damage caused by harsh weather conditions.
MicroSD card recording makes video storage more reliable and less costly than a similar NVR-based solution. Additionally, H.264 video compression helps to minimise video recording file sizes without dropping image quality, recording more footage in the same space. Installation is easy with PoE support.
