Overview of the Vivotek FE8191

This panoramic dome IP camera from Vivotek features a 12MP sensor and delivers high-definition, 360° overviews of indoor locations – 24 hours a day. It features a slim form factor for non-invasive installation onto a wall or ceiling, and also offers support for two-way audio. Additional features include Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), edge storage and remote access via a mobile device.

The camera’s fisheye lens provides a 360° overview when ceiling-mounted, or wide 180° views if mounted onto a flat wall. Electronic pan/tilt/zoom controls enable the examination into specific areas of interest, and users can configure various video motion detection alarms to help enhance scene awareness. In addition, the unit’s integrated microphone allows users to listen to and record audio in the monitored area.
