High quality and cost-effective Vivotek FD8371EV network camera offering 3 megapixel video at 30 fps or HD 1080p at 60 fps, true day/night and built-in Smart infrared LED lights for night-vision up to 20m, motorised P-iris lens, 3D noise reduction, triple codec and two-way audio. Suitable for outdoor use in environments at risk of vandalism.

The Vivotek FD8371EV dome network camera delivers high quality video footage either in 3 megapixel resolution at 30 frames per second or HD 1080p at 60 frames per second, providing smooth monitoring ideal for demanding and fast-paced security applications. True day/night capability is enhanced by integrated LED lights providing up to 20m radiant distance for high quality monochrome image capture at night-time and in total darkness. The IP66 and IK10 rated casing protects the camera against bad weather and vandalism attempts, providing durable outdoor usability. Two-way audio capability is provided when a microphone and speaker are connected to the camera (not included), enabling sound to be recorded to complement video footage. Included Vivotek 32-channel recording software provides simple and cost-effective video management.

The FD8371EV IP camera has a motorised P-iris lens with built-in stepper motor for precise image capture, video is then enhanced further by wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, which captures detail in both bright and dark areas within a scene to ensure clear, unsaturated footage. In combination with 3D noise reduction, this enables the camera to deliver good performance in a diverse range of lighting conditions. Smart IR technology amends the infrared light intensity instantly depending on lighting environments to prevent overexposure and to provide high quality, optimised images at night-time.

Triple codec with H.264, Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 gives the user flexibility on compression method to suit different network and storage conditions. Power over Ethernet (PoE) support enables the FD8371EV to be powered through a single cable also feeding network connection for simplified cabling during installation. On-board recording onto a SD card (card not included) provides flexible storage management with data being available for transfer to a centralised recording device at low traffic times, avoiding network congestion.
