Vivotek’s FD8361 is a 2-megapixel, fixed-dome IP camera which provides detailed, high quality footage with a weatherproof IP66-rated casing. The camera can function day and night using it's infrared-cut filter and integrated infrared LEDs, making it well suited to outdoor environments where 24-hour surveillance is required, such as shop fronts and train stations.

H.264 video compression optimises bandwidth usage while maintaining the quality of the image. The camera is also ONVIF compliant, meaning that it can be integrated easily with other third-party ONVIF compatible security hardware. Power over Ethernet also makes wiring very easy, with both power and data supplied through the Ethernet cable.

The camera also supports two-way audio, allowing the operator to verbally communicate with co-workers on-site or warn off intruders. Tamper Detection ensures the user is alerted instantly if the camera is blocked or moved, while recordings can be stored on-board SD memory card without any additional equipment.
