Overview of the Vivotek FD8355EHV

IP66 and IK10-rated external Vivotek FD8355EHV network dome camera with 1.3 megapixel resolution at 30 fps, 30m infrared night-vision and true day/night. Other features include Smart IR technology, P-iris lens, 3D noise reduction, two-way audio, wide dynamic range (WDR Pro), PoE and on-board recording. Comes with software and mobile access is available through the iViewer app.

The IP66 and IK10 rated FD8355EHV fixed dome network camera provides robust and durable outdoor surveillance in high quality 1280x1024 (1.3 megapixel) resolution at up to 30 frames per second. In addition to an automatic infrared-cut filter that enables true day/night functionality, built-in Smart IR LEDs provide up to 30m of infrared night-vision, intelligently adapted to best suit each scene. The motorised P-iris lens precisely controls the iris with a built-in stepper motor to maintain optimum opening levels for maximum image sharpness and depth of field. Additionally, Vivotek’s Smart Focus System eases installation by using remote focus and zoom.

Featuring the improved Wide Dynamic Range Pro II technology, the FD8355EHV provides visibility in extremely dark and bright areas, enabling effective surveillance in strongly backlit scenes. 3D noise reduction technology enables clear, polished video capture in low lit environments, increasing image detail and reducing bandwidth from sensor noise, whilst Supreme Night Visibility also increases sensitivity of the camera, enabling clearer image capture at night-time. Electronic Image Stabilisation control image stability and reduces blur, enabling the camera to be pole mounted (additional bracketry required).

The Vivotek FD8355EHV uses triple window motion detection to alert users to activity, delivering accurate and reliable CCTV monitoring. Support for bi-directional audio (additional speaker and microphone required – sold separately) provides audio recording capability for further event analysis and can allow conversation to take place through the camera. Installing the FD8355EHV IP camera is made easier through Power over Ethernet (PoE) support as only a single cable is needed, whilst video data can be conveniently stored to a MicroSD card (card not included), providing cost-effective, decentralised storage.

All Vivotek cameras come with ST7501 software with support for up to 32 cameras; additionally users can access cameras using the Vivotek ST7501 mobile app.
