Overview of the Vivotek FD8154V-F2

This Vivotek dome IP camera is capable of delivering 1.3 megapixel video at up to 30 frames per second (fps) - 24-hours a day. The compact dome's design makes it ideal for non-invasive surveillance and the vandal-resistant casing offers protection in exposed outdoor locations that are prone to tampering. Integrated infrared (IR) LEDs help to enhance night vision at a range of up to 20m and the camera can be easily installed using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).

The unit's triple-window video motion detection enables multiple regions to be defined inside the field of view and also be configured to inform users of activity via email notification. Areas of the original image can be examined in detail using electronic pan/tilt/zoom (ePTZ) controls. In addition, the camera’s built-in microphone allows activity occurring close to the camera to be heard in live view and audio recordings can be listened to in playback.
