Vandal-resistant and outdoor-ready Vista VK2 1080VRDIR37E mini dome network camera with smooth HD 1080p video capture at 30fps, 15 metre true night-vision and infrared-cut filter for effective 24/7 surveillance, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), recording to MicroSD card, triple codec and Vista’s Triple Streaming and Event Boost technologies for efficient bandwidth and storage use. Comes with 32-channel recording software and access to live viewing and playback via mobile devices.

Tamper-resistant and rated IP66 for outdoor use, the affordable VK2-1080VRDIR37E IP dome camera, part of Vista's popular E-series, is designed for durable external installation and can withstand rain, dust and vandalism attempts. The Sony progressive scan CMOS sensor is capable of smooth HD 1080p video capture at 30 images per second and the fixed 3.7mm megapixel lens provides good image clarity throughout the scene. The VK2-1080VRDIR37E has an IR-cut filter to enable full colour reproduction during daytime, automatically switching to black and white image capture when light levels drop. Night-time surveillance is improved further by the integrated infrared LEDs that provide up to 15m of radiant distance, enabling image capture in total darkness .

Vista’s Event Boost and Triple Streaming technologies reduce network traffic and storage space by only recording at a high frame rate when activity is detected; this ensures event footage is recorded in high quality for in-depth event analysis whilst continuous recording can be set at low frame rates whilst nothing of importance is happening. Video files can be compressed via 3 different methods, H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG, providing flexibility depending on application.

All Vista E-series network cameras can be powered via external power supply or through Power-over-Ethernet; this provides alternate power solutions depending on preference and application. Data can be stored locally onto an integrated MicroSD card (not included), removing the need for a centralised recording device and therefore reducing overall system costs. On-board recording also increases the robustness of video data as it is not affected by potential network issues. Vista's VK2-CLIENT 32-channel recording software is included as well, providing cost-effective and user-friendly camera management for small to medium IP video systems. Mobile apps for Android and iOS enable remote viewing and playback of footage for video management whilst on the move.
