The IK-10 rated Vista VK2 1080VFDIR35V16E network mini dome HD camera offers vandal-resistance and a varifocal lens for accurate set up in addition to its smooth HD 1080p video capturing (at 30 fps) and 20 metre infrared night-vision capability, making this IP camera ideal for 24/7 CCTV monitoring. Additional useful features include on-camera recording using a SD card (not included), triple codec and Event Boost technology for efficient use of available bandwidth, video motion detection, privacy masking, Power over Ethernet (PoE) support and 32 channel recording software with mobile apps support.

Part of the Vista E-series of affordable network cameras, the IP66-rated outdoor-ready VK2-1080VRDIR35V16E dome camera with 1/2.8” 2 megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor captures full HD 1080p real-time footage and provides adjustable angle coverage with its 3-9mm varifocal megapixel lens. An automatic infrared-cut filter enables 24/7 surveillance by switching the camera to mono image capture at night-time, which is further enhanced by 36 built-in infrared (IR) illuminators that provide up to 20m of radiant distance for clear night-vision, also in total darkness. IK10 rated- this Vista camera is robust and can withstand impact from tampering attempts. The compact-sized dome design makes it ideal for unobtrusive installation at entrances, loading bays and for example ATMs.

Furthermore, the Vista VK2-1080VFDIR35V16E features Vista’s Event Boost and Triple Streaming technologies that reduce bandwidth and storage use by continuously recording at a low frame rate until activity is detected through the built-in motion detection, which then triggers frame rate speed up until the activity event ends. Video data can be compressed using H.264, MPEG-4 or MJPEG, which can be applied to up to three individual streams that the camera can provide.

Like all IP cameras in the Vista E-series, power can be supplied via either PoE or external power depending on preference, with Power over Ethernet providing a cost-effective and easy-to-install method. With the option of recording to an integrated MicroSD card (sold separately), video data can be stored locally with no dependence on centralised devices, preventing loss of CCTV footage in case of network failure. The included Vista VK2-CLIENT recording software is user-friendly and enables up to 32 cameras to be connected and managed. With mobile apps available for iOS and Android devices, this Vista network camera can be remotely viewed and managed for handy access to alerts and video footage whilst on the move.
