Overview of the Videotec GEKO IRH60L8A LED illuminator

The GEKO IRH60L8A LED illuminator from Videotec offers long-vision infrared light up to 40m (131ft) at a 60° wide angle that enables a CCTV cameras to capture high quality, black and white images at night. By incorporating an IRH60L8A illuminator into a security system, the system can operate 24 hours a day, offering round-the-clock, surveillance. The 60° wide angle beams ensures a wide coverage of light, removing underexposures or hotspots and optimising the area being monitored.

Infrared light transmission is optimised through the technopolymer front glass and the IP66-rated heat sink body provides a durable body that can withstand low temperatures both indoors and outdoors and operate fully in a variety of weather conditions.

The Videotec IRH60L8A LED illuminator can either be mounted to the wall using the included bracket, or be directly connected to the camera housing through the OSUPPIR bracket (not included, please select from above menu if required).
