Overview of the Veracity Pointsource VAD-PSW
This battery-powered, wireless PoE injector by Veracity has been designed with ease of use in mind and helps to simplify the installation of PoE or PoE+ compliant IP cameras.
Ideal for IP CCTV installers, this handheld tool delivers temporary power to network cameras (up to 30W) via a standard Ethernet cable. The unit’s built-in wireless access point allows live video from an IP camera to be displayed on a smartphone, tablet or laptop by simply logging into the wireless network. Once connected, the camera image can be easily viewed allowing precise adjustment of camera alignment, focus and field of view during installation. Image adjustment and camera configuration are supported using either a browser or the free CAMPOINT mobile app, available for Android and iOS devices.
When fully charged, the unit’s rechargeable battery can provide power to equipment for up to 6 hours and an additional battery pack (please select in the dropdown menu) can be used in place of the original battery while it is being recharged. A 5V USB is also included to provide a handy charging method for mobile devices while on site.
