Overview of the Veracity Lightspan SC100

Compact and robust, the Veracity Lightspan SC100 media converter delivers ethernet interface speeds with a fibre SC connection over distances of up to 2000m. Ruggedised with an extended temperature range and Railway EMC compliant, this unit is suitable for a range of exposed or harsh environments. Installation is made simple with automatic configuration, included mounting brackets and a versatile power input that supports legacy 12V DC / 24V AC supplies. Furthermore, up to 24 Lightspan units can be rack-mounted together using an additional 1U mounting kit (sold separately) – ideal for larger installations.

Please note: two SC100 units are required for each installation.
