This powerful back office software application enables collation and management of licence plate data captured from multiple cameras running Vaxtor ALPR software. Running on a PC or server, Helix is a flexible and scalable solution allowing users to receive and analyse reads in real time, with support for over 1000 different camera models and types. This data can be used to develop access control systems, and enhance parking management and traffic monitoring solutions.
This basic version supports reads from up to 10 cameras, and once stored, users can search through historical data using various terms such as partial-plate, date, time, camera, zone, direction and more. Results can then be downloaded as a .csv file and exported along with associated images and metadata for further analysis. Create reports for easy interpretation which can be shared amongst users. Define alarms to trigger upon detection of blacklisted plates and speeding vehicles for faster response times.
User Management
Helix supports hundreds of simultaneous users, allowing administrators to add password-protected users and set permissions as to which cameras they can view and what data they have access to. The scalable solution facilitates over 400 sites manageable through a single dashboard, and allows users on each site to manage their own vehicle database and access rules. The simple web-based interface can be run on Windows operating systems, making it convenient for multi-site management.
Access Control
Helix can turn IP camera networks into effective access control systems, traffic monitoring solutions and greatly support efficient parking management. With whitelist and blacklist management, certain vehicles can be granted or denied access, and alarms can be triggered when a specific plate is read. Control barriers and gate access using the Helix Authorisations plugin (available separately) for a complete access control solution. Third-party app integration is also possible to support fine management systems and more.
