Overview of the Sony UNI-E2DG8

The Sony UNI-E2DG8 housing is designed to allow an indoor Sony 4K Ultra HD IP camera, such as the Sony SNC-VB770, to be safely deployed in outdoor locations. The robust, IP66-rated housing is also vandal-resistant and can operate in temperatures ranging from -32°C to 46°C.

An integrated blower runs continuously to provide airflow around the inside of the housing - keeping the camera cool and the housing's window virtually fog-free. In addition, the built-in heater will automatically activate at approximately 4°C and deactivate at 15°C with the use of a thermal cut-off switch - ensuring safe heating operation.

Designed for wall mounting, users can also choose to install the housing onto a pole using the included pole mount adapter plate (steel straps not included). In addition, the handy side hinge enables easy access to the camera for straightforward installation and maintenance.
