Sony SNC-RX570P endless pan-tilt-zoom IP camera with intelligent motion detection, auto day/night switching and 2-way audio
This product is discontinued, an alternative model is the Bosch AUTODOME IP Starlight 5000i
The Sony SNC-RX570P network dome camera is a fully controllable pan-tilt-zoom IP camera with an endless 360° rotation, 36x optical zoom, day/night switching for 24-hour surveillance, image stabilizer, bi-directional audio and intelligent video analytics based on Sony’s DEPA technology platform.
The Sony SNC-RX570P is Sony’s flagship model for the professional SNC-RX series. It is a high-end IP security dome camera, ideal for mission critical applications in any medium/large organization. Featuring a 36x optical zoom allows close-up monitoring of distant objects in fine detail and combined with an endless 360° rotation allows you to track subjects easily. Using an advanced 1/4-type Exwave HAD CCD sensor and image processing technology, the camera delivers detailed images at a maximum resolution of 640x480 (VGA) at a frame rate of up to 30fps. With wide dynamic range Dynaview technology the camera will capture subjects in high contrast lighting environments while day/night switching allows the camera to automatically produce infrared sensitive monochrome video when light levels drop to a low level. Intelligent video features include image stabilisation, anti-tampering function, bi-directional audio communication and alarm management tools which will notify the user, with image attachment, if an alarm has been triggered by intelligent motion detection, external sensor input or intelligent video analytics. Like all IP cameras offered on www.networkwebcams.co.uk, the Sony SNC-RX570P has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
An outdoor version is available: Sony SNC-RX570P Outdoor Bundle
Sony SNC-RX570P - Key benefits:
- High-end professional grade pan-tilt-zoom mechanics with endless 360° rotation provides robust monitoring and precise movement
- Wide-dynamic range using Sony’s Dynaview technology provides clear images of subjects in both dark and bright areas of the same image providing consistent identification capabilities no matter the lighting condition
- True day/night capabilities allow the camera to provide high quality images in both bright daylight conditions and infrared sensitive monochrome video in periods of poor/low-light or at night
- Wide choice of compression formats including H.264 provide flexibility when designing and integrating security application solutions
- Intelligent video capabilities based on Sony’s DEPA technology platform allow integration with other DEPA-enabled devices to perform advanced applications such as Intelligent Object Detection
Sony SNC-RX570P - Key features:
- Features 36x optical zoom (432x zoom when combined with 12x digital zoom) provides large magnification for monitoring of distant objects in high detail
- Industrial grade pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) mechanism with endless 360° rotation for fast (300° per second), precise monitoring
- DynaView technology provides identification capabilities in high contrast lighting conditions. Subjects will appear identifiable when monitored in dark or bright areas, even if these high contrast lighting appears in the same image
- Multiple compression formats (MJPEG, MPEG-4 or H.264) allow for bandwidth efficient live monitoring or high quality recording, as required
- Duel encoding capabilities allow MPEG-4 video to be streamed to a remote location while high quality JPEG images are recorded simultaneously
- True day/night switching provides around-the-clock surveillance by delivering high quality colour video during the day and automatically switching to infrared sensitive black and white video at night or during periods of low-light
- Intelligent video motion detection reduces the amount of false alarms that would be generated by conventional video motion detection routines
- DEPA-enabled Intelligent Object Detection will alert the user if an object is a) left within a scene for a set period of time (such as an unattended bag in an airport) or b) alert the user if an object has been removed from a scene for a set period of time (such as a valuable painting from a gallery)
- Anti-tamper function provides authentication for the images produced by the camera. Using digital signature technology the integrity of the images recorded can be proven to be authentic and unique to the camera they were taken from
- Image stabilising technology provides a means to ensure that the images produced from the SNC-RX570P are of the highest quality. Image stabilisation reduces the amount of motion blur from heavy wind or vibrations, which would make images less sharp
- All images stored in the pre-/post-alarm buffer can be transferred to an FTP server at the time of an alarm event. A still image can also be sent to a designated email address in the event of an alarm
- External sensor inputs (2) allow the camera to alert the user upon receiving a signal from an external source such as a door bell or magnetic window sensor. Two alarm outputs can also be used to control external devices such as an audible alarm or turning on lights
- Spherical privacy zone masking allows sensitive areas of an image to be masked to protect privacy. This mask will stay in place during pan-tilt-zoom operation
- Analogue video output for monitoring using traditional analogue CCTV monitoring equipment
- Wireless IEEE802.11b or IEEE802.11b/g operation is supported using additional SNCA-CFW1/SNCA-CFW5 wireless cards (not supplied). Note CF type II to PCMCIA II adaptor required, not supplied
Sony SNC-RX570P - Typical applications:
- Professional network dome camera for mission critical security surveillance and monitoring applications in locations such as office buildings, shopping centres, train stations, airports, bars, schools, universities or any other medium/large sized business or organisation
