Overview of the Sony SNC-ER550
This outdoor HD product bundle includes a Sony SNC-ER550 HD PTZ IP network camera, an outdoor dome housing, mounting bracket and 24V power supply. The Sony SNC-ER550 is also available in an indoor version.
The Sony SNC-ER550 produces HD 720p video and features powered 28x optical zoom, providing sharp video of both nearby and far-off objects. The camera's rapid-dome mechanism provides endless panning and is rugged enough for long-term continuous motion. Sony's DEPA intelligent video analytics is available, detecting objects in view rather than conventional motion detection to intelligently reduce false alarms.
The outdoor-ready dome housing provides protection from the weather and allows the camera to capture video from all around. The dome can be wall or ceiling mounted and comes with a choice of smoked or clear viewing bubbles (see note).
Note: This camera bundle features a choice of mounting brackets and viewing bubbles which can be selected above when ordering. We recommend that this bundle is installed by a qualified electrician.
