Overview of the Sony BRAVIA FW49X8370C
The FW49X8370C is a 49" LED display with 4K Ultra HD resolution (3840 x 2160) and is able to produce sharp images with excellent contrast. Part of the BRAVIA Professional display series, this surveillance monitor has a wide viewing angle (178°), making it easier to view from all around the room and is ideal for use in security control rooms and receptions. The monitor has a good selection of video and audio ports for both digital and analogue connections, providing plenty of options for integration and configuration. Network connectivity is also built in with integrated Ethernet and Wi-Fi support.
Note, if you have at least one IP camera streaming images at 4K resolution in your CCTV system, a 4K display is essential - otherwise users can not benefit from the high level of detail available in Ultra HD.
Video signals from lower resolution cameras such as 720p HD and 1080p HD are supported. This makes the monitor essentially backwards compatible with an existing full HD surveillance system - ideal for handling the phased implementation of 4K into a digital CCTV operation. The monitor also uses Sony's X-Reality Pro video processing engine to upscale lower resolution content so it's closer to 4K Ultra HD quality.
