Powerful and reliable QNAP VS-8140U-RP PRO+ rackmountable network video recorder (NVR) from the VioStor range, supporting up to 40 cameras and providing up to 32TB storage space. Also featuring a Dual Core Intel Dual i3 processor and 4GB RAM, intelligent video, advanced event management and remote access via free QNAP VMobile app.
Suitable for large, enterprise-level IP CCTV installations, the powerful and high performance VS-8140U-RP PRO+ network video recorder from the QNAP VioStor series records real-time video/audio for up to 40 network cameras, whilst 8 bays provide up to 32TB storage capacity. Linux-based, the VS-8140U-RP PRO+ NVR is robust and protected against virus attack and system crash, delivering stable, secure performance ideal for critical applications. With HDMI output, the VS-8140U-RP PRO+ can be connected a local monitor, removing the need for a PC, and the unit can be rackmounted, which is ideal for expanding existing IP CCTV installations.
The QNAP VioStor VS-8140U-RP PRO+ is installed in 6 steps using Internet Explorer, whilst the simple scheduled remote replication feature backs up video data to a NAS on the local network. Capable of RAID, if a drive fails, it can be replaced using hot swapping technology without turning the server off, ensuring data is saved. The QNAP VioStor VS-8140U-RP PRO+ NVR also supports dynamic e-map, advanced event management, 4 Gigabit LAN ports, smart recording, multiple codec and mobile viewing through the QNAP VMobile app for iOS, Android and Windows devices.
