The QNAP VS-4016U-RP PRO VioStor Network Video Recorder (NVR) is a rack mountable recording and monitoring solution with up to 8TB of storage for use with a maximum of 16 IP cameras. Highly flexible the QNAP VS-4016U-RP can grow with your security needs and is easily expandable by adding additional QNAP servers connected locally or via the Internet to monitor up to a total of 120 IP cameras.

The QNAP VS-4016U-RP PRO VioStor NVR is designed for continuous recording with backups in place to avoid server downtime. Four hot-swappable drive bays and advanced RAID configurations allow failed drives to be replaced without powering down or losing recorded data. Also a redundant power supply will kick in if the other fails allowing for failed power supply to be replaced during full recording operation.

Energy efficient the QNAP VS-4016U-RP VioStor has an embedded Linux operating system which uses significantly less power than an equivalent PC-based recording solution and is less vulnerable to malware attacks. With support for a wide range of network cameras from leading IP camera manufactures QNAP VioStor servers offer high flexibility when choosing compatible network cameras.
