The QNAP VS-2108 PRO+ VioStor Network Video Recorder can record up to 8 IP cameras connected locally or via the internet. Providing live monitoring, recording and playback the QNAP VioStor can be accessed from any location with just a web browser. It is easily expandable, by adding additional QNAP NVR servers connected locally or through the Internet, to up to 128 IP cameras.

Two hot-swap bays can provide 8TB video storage capacity. Recorded data can be protected from hard drive failure with RAID 1 mirroring the data on both hard drives and backups can be made to attached USB storage devices with the one-touch back up button. With a direct HDMI video output and USB ports for keyboard and mouse (not included) the Qnap VS-2108 PRO+ can be used as a stand alone unit as well as via a network.

With the embedded Linux operating system this QNAP NVR is stable, reliable and less vulnerable to malware than a PC-based recording solution. With a low power consumption of 39.3W maximum it is energy efficient with low running costs.
