Designed to supply power to up to 24 different devices, the PowerDSine PD-9524G rack-mountable Power over Ethernet switch is compatible with all IEEE802.3af compliant devices, providing up to 15W of power per device with a combined, maximum total of 200 or 400W (selectable above). Installation of the midspan is easy, with the device able to be mounted in 19" rack cabinets, with power supplied through existing Ethernet cabling so that no cable upgrade is required.

The midspan can provide data throughput speeds of 1000Mbps, reducing data bottlenecks on high-speed networks. The PowerDsine PD-3524 has advanced safety features. It will not power devices which are incompatible and automatically shut off the supply in the event of a power fault.
