Overview of the NUUO IP+ recording software
NUUO IP+ recording software is an advanced Windows-based recording solution that can provide live recording and viewing for up to 64 cameras per PC, and is installed easily using automatic camera detection. Compatible with over 2100 IP camera models from over 100 different brands, the NUUO IP+ software provides open-platform recording suitable for medium to large sized professional IP video systems. Video can be viewed easily whilst away from site using multiple remote and mobile clients. NUUO IP+ software also supports Point of Sale (POS) display, overlaying the transaction text onto live video channels, ideal for retail applications.
The NUUO IP+ software offers advanced event management, with intelligent video analytics including general motion detection, edge motion, signal loss and digital input triggers that can send 5 instant alarm actions including email, close a relay output, push notification to mobile, on screen alert display and play sound on the client PC. The smart search feature of the NUUO IP+ recording software enables users to locate events including foreign or missing objects, focus loss and camera occlusion. Custom image files can be imported and cameras and I/O devices can be placed on an electronic site map (E-map). Areas can be viewed in greater detail using either the digital PTZ feature or joystick PTZ support whilst audio recording and verbal interaction are possible with the software’s two-way audio capability.
Continuous, motion and event based recording schedules can be configured per camera using the intuitive graphical user interface (GUI). H.264, MPEG-4, MJPEG and MxPEG (Mobotix) compression formats are all supported by the NUUO IP+ video recording software, ensuring efficient file reduction suitable for a diverse range of applications, whilst customised encoding provides the ability to record multiple different camera streams. Different resolutions and frame rates can be set for recording and live viewing, ensuring high quality recording and live viewing that is bandwidth friendly. When motion is detected, recording speed can be increased from permanent low frame rate recording, an ideal feature for applications that require events to be captured in detail. Bit rate can be monitored and throttled if required; ensuring bandwidth does not exceed the set limit.
The NUUO IP+ video recording software delivers additional advanced features including failover support, Windows Active Directory synchronisation, Open Resource Report, and OnGuard software watchdog, which brings an NVR back from an unresponsive state, restoring to normal operation to resuming recording. Access control and LPR 3rd party integration is also supported. Recorded video has digital watermarking applied, allowing investigators to verify that video is original and preventing unauthorised modification. Privacy masking blocks out sensitive areas, covering them with black boxes in live, playback and exported video. Export and backup of recorded video is simple with the NUUO IP+ software, and mobile viewing is provided using the NUUO iViewer app for iOS and Android.
