Overview of the NUUO NT-8040RP Titan NVR

Robust Linux-embedded NUUO Titan NVR network video recorder with 250Mbps throughput, up to 64 channel support and up to 32TB of HDD space. High megapixel camera support, redundant power supply, NUUO iViewer app and MAC compatibility.

The high throughput NT-8040RP Titan NVR comes with a 4 channel base license included with additional licenses available (available from the above drop down menu). This allows up to a maximum of 64 cameras to be connected, providing a scalable recording solution for medium and large CCTV applications. 8 HDD bays provide ample storage space up to 32TB (selectable from above drop down menu if required). The Linux-embedded operating system delivers stable and reliable operation, reducing risk of viruses and crashing. Cameras as high as 10 megapixel can be efficiently recorded at high frame rates due to the Fire Ring recording engine; this processes data at a throughput of up to 250Mpbs. Not only is the Titan NVR compatible with Windows and Mac, it also supports over 82 camera brands and nearly 2000 models.

Images can be 'stitched together' using Image Fusion Technology to create a better view of a scene, preventing dead angles and narrow hallway views. Optical and full digital pan-tilt-zoom control support in addition to auto-patrol and programmable preset views provides effective coverage of large environments. H.264, MPEG and MPEG-4 compression formats and panoramic 360° camera support (via full integration with Vivotek fish eye cameras and a generic dewarp driver) enables wide compatibility with a wide range of cameras.

The Titan NVR provides a centralised network video recorder accessible from anywhere, even on the move. The NUUO iViewer app enables remote access to live view and playback video via iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices for flexible and convenient data management. Server configuration can be performed remotely, enabling the user to make changes even away from the server. Command chain technology synchronises user accounts and critical events across numerous servers, enabling central viewing of 400 channels at the same time. The Titan NVR is also Windows and Mac compatible.

The handy intelligent search feature quickly locates relevant footage though event/motion searches for efficient video management. Synchronised audio recording captures sound alongside activity and is a useful feature for helping with event analysis. Dual streaming capability prevents bandwidth bottlenecking by allowing a live view stream in high quality whilst recording in high quality. Users can connect a joystick to the Titan NVR for alternative camera control.
