Overview of the Microchip PD9001-10GC
Designed for unobtrusive indoor use, this compact 1-port midspan facilitates the remote powering of a single PoE device with no local power source required. Supplying up to 30W power to a connected device, this midspan is the ideal choice for small to medium businesses.
Compatible with IEEE 802.3at PoE standard and backwards compatible with IEEE 802.3af, this midspan supports throughputs of 10/100/1000 Base-T and 2.5/5/10 Gbps. Furthermore, built-in safety features ensure the connected devices receive only the power they need and the unit automatically detects non–standard Ethernet terminals.
