Overview of the Microchip PD-3504G midspan
The Microchip PD-3504G midspan provides power for up to 4 compatible network devices through Ethernet infrastructure, requiring no separate cabling for power. With support for the IEEE 802.3af power standard and gigabit throughput, the midspan provides the power and data speeds necessary for modern surveillance networks. The unit requires no configuration so can be installed quickly, and it provides power safely, shutting off power automatically when a fault condition is detected. Multiple units can even be stacked for installation in small spaces.
