Easy to install, and capturing 1080p H.264 video at full 30fps frame rate, the IQeye Sentinel IQ862NE is an outdoor IP camera which provides detailed and smooth footage. The camera's casing is IP66-rated and heated, allowing it to perform outdoors in harsh weather, and with day/night switching and IQinVision's advanced Lightgrabber software, can capture events in near-dark conditions.

Designed with installation in mind, the camera comes equipped with a tough swivel mount bracket for secure mounting in a variety of positions, while the integrated hangers allow the camera to be held securely during connection. Automatic back focus lets installers achieve the optimum focus through the web interface, while Power over Ethernet reduces cabling requirements since both power and data are transmitted through the network cable.

Video can be recorded directly to networked hard drives using the Direct-To-Storage recording system, lowering system costs by removing the need for advanced recording systems. However, should a centralised monitoring system be required, the camera is compliant with both ONVIF and PSIA recording protocols for easy integrating with many third party security platforms.
