Overview of the IQeye Sentinel IQ861

The IQeye Sentinel IQ861NE is an all-weather IP camera designed for surveillance in locations such as banks and schools. The camera's rugged casing protects it from bad weather and comes complete with an integrated bracket for easy mounting. Additionally, with support for Power over Ethernet and automatic back focus, the camera can be installed quickly and easily, lowering system installation costs and making the installer's life easier.

The camera is compatible with a wide range of recording and monitoring devices, with support for both ONVIF and PSIA. The camera's Direct-To-Storage (DTS) system also allows the camera to record directly to networked hard drives, reducing the need for a centralised recording system.

Suited to low-light environments, the IQ861NE features IQeye's Lightgrabber system which provides brighter footage in low light, coupled with day/night switching which captures monochrome video with high light sensitivity. When used with infrared illumination, the camera can also capture events in total darkness, for a true 24-hour security solution.
