Overview of the GVD Milestone XProtect server 4 channel

Specifically designed and built by GVD for optimum performance with Milestone XProtect video management software (VMS), this GVD4-ES server offers maximum throughput and is suitable for up to 4 connected network cameras each recording in HD 1080p in H.264 at full frame rate (30fps). With three HDD bays and options to choose from 1TB, 2TB and 3TB CCTV class drives, the unit offers plenty of flexibility for storage, providing short and long term storage options.

Fitted with a 1GB graphics card, this server is suited for running both the Milestone recording software as well as Milestone's Smart Client for viewing and playback directly from the machine (display monitor not included), whilst additional Smart Clients can also be installed on other computers on the network for efficient distribution of video to the people that need it.

Using the leading, open platform Milestone XProtect software allows you to use this recording solution with a very wide range of camera makes and models and also enables you to record video streams from, for example, video encoders. Furthermore, using the free Milestone Mobile Client offers you a very easy to use tool to view your cameras and recordings via iPhone, iPad and Android devices from wherever you are. It is ideal for business owners and managers to keep an eye on their business.

This server will come pre-installed with the Milestone XProtect Essential software when selected from above drop-down, together with your chosen storage capacity.
