Overview of the Hikvision DS-2DP0818Z-D

This panoramic surveillance solution from Hikvision consists of four sensor modules that deliver a 180° overview in 8MP resolution, and a PTZ dome that enables the capture of clear close-ups in HD 1080p. The IP66-rated unit also features true/day night recording, making it ideal for 24-hour monitoring of exposed outdoor areas. In addition, It's supplied with a 36VDC power supply and supports MicroSD card recording.

The built-in PTZ dome features full pan/tilt functionality, with a 36x optical zoom for in-depth scene examination. Wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction are included to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions. Various video motion detection alarms can be configured to alert users of possible incidents, and external devices can be connected via the unit's I/O ports to enhance alarm signalling. These motion detection alerts can also be set to trigger specific tasks such as guard tours or starting the automatic target tracking function to ensure activity is followed and captured.
