Overview of the Hikvision DS-2DF8225IH-AEL

This PTZ network camera from Hikvision delivers 2 megapixel resolution at full frame rate and captures colour images in low light using Darkfighter technology. The model offers support for true day/night recording, alongside full pan/tilt functionality and a 25x optical zoom - making it ideal for monitoring large locations round-the-clock. The IP67-rated unit also includes built-in infrared (IR) LEDs that illuminate up to 200m, edge storage and can be installed easily via Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+).

A handful of imaging technologies are included, such as wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction to improve the quality of images captured in challenging lighting conditions. Configurable video motion detection alarms help to alert users of activity via notifications such as email. These alarms can also be set to prompt tasks such as moving the camera directly to a pre-set location when motion is detected. Additionally, users can connect external devices via the camera's integrated alarm and audio I/O ports to enable features such as two-way audio or to help enhance alarm signalling.
