Overview of the Hikvision DS-2DE7232IW-AE

This PTZ speed dome IP camera by Hikvision is capable of delivering up to 2 megapixel resolution images at 25 frames per second (fps) - 24-hours a day. Integrated infrared (IR) LEDs help to enhance night vision at a range of up to 150m, whilst the camera's IP66-rated casing allows it to be deployed in exposed outdoor locations. Full pan/tilt functionality and 32x optical zooming enables in depth viewing within the scene and installation is simplified, thanks to support for Power-over-Ethernet Plus (PoE+).

Using the camera's pan/tilt movements (including 360° endless rotation), users are able to navigate across wide areas - helpful when closely monitoring an incident. Configurable video motion detection alarms alert users of possible incidents in real-time via notifications such as email. These alarms can also be set to trigger specific actions, such as moving to preset position or start MicroSD card recording (card not included) - ensuring no vital footage is missed. Additionally, built-in alarm and audio I/O ports support the connection of external devices - helping to enhance alarm signalling or enable features such as two-way audio.
