Overview of the Hikvision DS-2DE4A225IW-DE

This outdoor-ready PTZ network camera from Hikvision delivers 2 megapixel resolution at up to 25 frames per second (fps), complete with true day/night capability and up to 50m of infrared night vision. Housed in IP66-rated casing, it offers full pan/tilt functionality and a 25x optical zoom for detailed examination into regions of interest. It also features remote access via free Hikvision iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

Wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction technologies improve image clarity in difficult lighting conditions. Video motion detection alarms can be used to alert users of activity via notifications such as email and also trigger actions such as moving the camera directly to a pre-set location - ensuring all activity is captured. In addition, the unit features integrated alarm and audio I/O ports which support the connection of external devices to help enhance alarm signalling or enable features such as two-way audio.
