Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD4B36FWD-IZS

This outdoor-ready bullet by Hikvision delivers 3 megapixel resolution at up to 25 frames per second (fps), complete with true day/night capability and up to 30m night vision via the integrated infrared (IR) illuminator. Housed in an IP67-rated casing, the unit also features support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and remote access via the free Hikvision iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The camera's varifocal lens provides horizontal views of up to 88.5° and allows the desired viewing angle to be easily set during installation. Images captured in high contrast scenes are improved with wide dynamic range (WDR) technology. Configurable video motion detection methods such as line crossing and tampering alarms ensure a high level of dynamic scene awareness. In addition, the built-in alarm and audio I/O ports allow users to connect external devices that can help enhance alarm signalling or enable features such as two-way audio.
