Affordable IP66-rated DS-2CD4224F-I external network bullet camera from Hikvision with built-in Smart infrared LEDs providing up to 80m of night-vision. Other features include full HD 1080p, varifocal lens, true day/night, 3D noise reduction, digital Wide Dynamic Range, advanced SMART functions, intelligent video, defog, triple codec, on-board recording and PoE. Supplied with iVMS-4500 software and supports mobile access.

Producing full HD 1080p (30 frames per second) and with advanced 24-hour surveillance using an infrared-cut filter and built-in infrared LEDs, the DS-2CD4224F-I outdoor network camera from Hikvision provides high quality surveillance ideal for a wide range of applications. The varifocal lens allows viewing angle adjustment to precisely capture the scene required, providing a 40° - 16.5° horizontal angle of view. The integrated Smart IR LEDs intelligently adapt illumination to prevent saturation and can reach a maximum distance of 80m. IP6-rated, the camera provides durable CCTV monitoring suitable for external installation.

The Hikvision DS-2CD4224F-I incorporates a variety of imaging enhancement technologies to improve image capture in range of challenging conditions. 3D noise reduction provides images with less noise in low-light surveillance scenes, whilst digital Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) clearly captures both bright and dark areas within a scene, ensuring balanced video. If the camera is subject to fog, haze, smoke or dust, defog technology enhances clarity within images to improve visibility.

Featuring Hikvision’s advanced Smart functions, the DS-2CD4224F-I delivers reliable and accurate security monitoring, using Smart Face Detection in addition to intrusion detection, defocus detection, motion detection, line crossing, dynamic analysis and tampering alarm to alert users to activity detected in specific areas. Smart Video Quality Diagnosis (VQD) monitors blur, brightness and colour contrast, alerting the user to any abnormal qualities that may effect video analysis.

A MicroSD card slot (card not included) allows users to store video on-board the camera, providing a data back up solution in the event of a network failure. Installation using Power over Ethernet (PoE) is quick and simple, using a single cable for power and network connection. By using an advanced codec algorithm, the DS-2CD4224F-I minuses the system’s load and storage requirements. H.264, Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 compression formats are so supported.

Included with all Hikvision cameras is iVMS-4500 video management software. Users can access video remotely using the iOS and Android Hikvision mobile app.
