Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2T85FWD-I5

Part of the affordable Hikvision range, this outdoor-ready IP camera is capable of providing 8 megapixel resolution at up to 20 frames per second (fps), complete with true day/night recording and up to 50m of infrared night vision. The IP67-rated unit also features support for H.265 compression format, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and remote access via Hikvision's free iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

Providing a 102° horizontal angle of view (model dependent), the camera enables users to view a wide area of the scene. A handful of imaging technologies such as wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction are included to help deliver clear, high quality images in challenging lighting conditions. Additionally, users can be alerted by notifications such as email when motion is detected by the camera - thanks to its configurable video motion detection alarms.
