Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2T35FWD-I5

This Hikvision outdoor-ready IP camera can deliver 3 megapixel video at full frame rate, complete with true day/night recording and built-in infrared illumination up to 50m. The affordable unit is housed inside an IP67-rated casing that offers protection against harsh weather conditions. Additional features include edge storage and remote access via the free Hikvision iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The camera offers a viewing angle of 78.7° (model dependent) which allows a wide area of the scene to be monitored. Wide dynamic range (WDR) technology is supported to ensure the capture of details in high contrast scenes, whilst 3D noise reduction can produce clearer imaging by reducing levels of noise that are commonly seen in low-light video. Additionally, various video motion detection alarms are configurable to alert users of activity via email notification. With support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE), this camera is able to receive power and network connectivity over one cable for cost-effective installation.
