Unbeatable on price, this compact Hikvison IP dome camera offers all the features you want to operate a high resolution 24 hour CCTV system. With 4 megapixel video resolution, 30 metre infrared night-vision, on-board SD card recording, a varifocal lens providing views from as narrow as 34° to as wide as 112°, this fully featured IP camera is suited to most indoor and outdoor surveillance applications. Support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) allows for simple one cable installation whilst the Hikvision iVMS-4200 video recorded software is freely included and mobile access to the camera is provided via the Hikvision app (iOS and Android), creating an all-in-one out of the box CCTV solution. Like all Hikvision network cameras, this unit is also fully compatible with market-leading Milestone Xprotect video management software.

Featuring IK10-rated vandal resistance means this Hikvision dome-shaped IP camera is also suitable for use in areas where vandalism could be a possibility, whilst its infrared (IR) cut filter automatically changes from full colour video to monochrome when there is little or no light, providing the camera with true day/night capability and making it an ideal choice for 24 hour surveillance. The camera's built in IR LEDs give an IR illumination range up to 30m at a maximum. With an angle of view of 112~33.8°, this model allows a larger horizontal region of the scene to be viewed with a single unit and is ideal for customers who want a low-cost surveillance choice.

Monitoring is enhanced by various video motion detection methods such as line crossing and tampering alarms, with alerts being sent via email or mobile to inform the user. Mobile monitoring apps (available on iOS and android) support surveillance on the move and provide easy camera control.

Image enhancement functions such as 3d noise reduction improve clarity within the image by reducing the image 'grain' and wide dynamic range (WDR) ensures a balanced exposure in areas of light and dark. Back light compensation is also supported in this model, to reduce areas of interest being silhouetted against bright backgrounds.

H.264 and MJPEG compression formats are supported and operators can configure dual streaming in different resolutions and frame rates, allowing flexible bandwidth management. Additionally, data can be stored internally to a MicroSD card (card not included) providing a low-cost data back up if the network fails. Support for PoE means power is supplied to the camera through the Ethernet cable, making this CCTV camera a cost-effective choice.

Hikvision’s iVMS-4200 video management software is included with the camera, enabling simple and effective camera control ideal for smaller scale installations, whilst mobile support provides flexible remote viewing.
