Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2723G0-IZS

This affordable dome IP camera by Hikvision is capable of delivering 2 megapixel video at full frame rate, complete with true day/night recording and up to 30m night vision. Its tough vandal-resistant housing is also IP67-rated, making it ideal for deployment in exposed outdoor locations. Additional features include, support for H.265 compression format, Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and remote access via free Hikvision iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The unit's varifocal lens offers horizontal views up to 110° allowing the user to easily set the viewing angle during installation. Imaging technologies such as wide dynamic range (WDR) helps to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions. Configurable video motion detection alarms can be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) and also inform users of activity via email notification. In addition, users can choose to connect external devices through the integrated audio and alarm I/O ports to enable audio recording and enhance alarm signalling.
