This Hikvision dome network camera is capable of delivering up to 2 megapixel (1920 x 1080) resolution at up to 25 frames per second (fps). An ingress protection level of IP66 and up to IK10 rated vandal resistance make this camera a cost-effective choice for outdoor use. This model has an audio/alarm add-on, which extends the unit’s surveillance features by adding the sound within the camera’s field of view. Supporting Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and on-board storage, this camera is a good choice for customers looking for an affordable 24 hour CCTV monitoring system.

This compact, outdoor ready IP camera features an infrared (IR) cut filter giving 'true' day/night capability and night vision is enhanced with built in IR LEDs, giving an optimum IR illumination range of 15 to 20m with a maximum range of 30m. 3D noise reduction and wide dynamic range (WDR) improve image quality in low light or high contrast scenes and the addition of backlight compensation (BLC) helps to prevent areas of interest being silhouetted against bright backgrounds. With region of interest (ROI) support, users have the ability to highlight areas of interest in the camera’s field of view that need a higher level of monitoring, for example an entrance or exit door.

Built-in alarm triggers have the ability to alert users if motion is detected in a configured area, including line crossing and tampering detection. With the optional audio add-on, users can utilise audio support from the camera. Alarms can be triggered by audio detection and in the case of a loss of sound within the scene, an alarm trigger alerts the user of potential damage to the camera. Email or mobile device notifications can be sent to users when alarm alerts are trigged via the Hikvision video software app, this allows for monitoring on the move and easy camera control.

This network camera is capable of dual streaming with popular compression formats - H.264 and MJPEG. This offers flexibility during system configuration to tailor the resolution and frame rate to suit network and storage limitations. Equipped with a MicroSD card slot (card not included) up to 64GB of recordings can be stored internally, providing a backup in case of network failure. Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) compatibility allows the camera to receive power and network connectivity over a single cable, reducing the time taken during installation and increasing the camera’s cost-effectiveness.

This IP camera supports audio and means users can "listen in" to the scene and where appropriate, be alerted if there is any loss of audio within the camera’s field of view.
