Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2555FWD-IS-2.8mm

This low-cost, outdoor dome from Hikvision delivers 5 megapixel video at up to 20 frames per second (fps). Housed in an IP66-rated casing, the unit also includes true day/night capability an built-in IR LEDs which provide up to 10m of infrared night vision. Additional features include support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and free remote access via Hikvision's video management software (VMS) iVMS-4200.

The camera provides a viewing angle of 97° - allowing users to view a wide area of the scene. For improved imaging in variety of lighting environments, wide dynamic range (WDR) ensures the capture of details in high contrast scenes. In addition, 3D noise reduction improves image captured in low light - reducing noise and blur to provide clearer images. Various video motion detection alarms can be set to trigger edge recording and inform users of activity via email notification.
