Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2342WD-I-6mm

Part of the affordable Hikvision range, this outdoor-ready unit is capable of providing 4 megapixel resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps) - 24-hours a day. The unit is housed in IP66-rated casing with built-in infrared (IR) LEDs that help to enhance night vision at a range of up to 30m. Additional features include support for Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and free remote access via Hikvision iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The camera provides a viewing angle of 56° and imaging technologies such as 3D noise reduction and wide dynamic range (WDR) are also included to help deliver clearer imaging in difficult lighting conditions. Various video motion detection alarms are configurable to alert users of activity via email notification and can be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) to ensure all motion is captured.
