Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2143G0-I-4mm

Part of the affordable Hikvision range, this outdoor-ready unit is capable of providing 4 megapixel resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps) - 24-hours a day. The unit is housed in IP67-rated casing with built-in infrared (IR) LEDs that help to enhance night vision at a range of up to 30m. Additional features include support for Power-over-Ethernet and free remote access via Hikvision iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The camera provides a viewing angle of 83° - allowing a wide area of the scene to be monitored. Using wide dynamic range (WDR) technology, the camera can capture clearer video footage in challenging lighting conditions. Camera-based video motion detection alarms are configurable to help to alert users of activity via a choice of notification methods including email. In addition, these motion detection alarms can also be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included)- ensuring no vital footage is missed.
