Overview of the Hikvision DS-2CD2123G0-I-2.8mm

This outdoor-ready dome IP camera is part of the affordable Hikvision range and delivers 2 megapixel resolution at up to 30 frames per second (fps). True day/night recording is enhanced with built-in infrared (IR) illumination, delivering clear night vision up to a distance of 30m. The unit also features an IK10-rated, vandal-resistant housing which makes it suitable for deployment in exposed locations. Additional features include edge storage and remote access via the free Hikvision iVMS-4200 video management software (VMS).

The unit offers a viewing angle of 114° which allows wide outdoor areas to be monitored. A set of imaging technologies such as wide dynamic range (WDR) and 3D noise reduction, help to improve image quality in challenging lighting conditions. In addition, various video motion detection alarms can be configured to alert users of possible incidents in real-time. These detection alerts can also be set to trigger MicroSD card recording (card not included) and inform users of activity via email notification.
