Ideal for smaller installations looking for a simple video management solution, this rack-mountable NVR provides seamless integration with cameras in the Hanwha Vision range. Offering a cost-effective method for users to take advantage of the Wisenet WAVE video management software, it comes preinstalled on the unit so it is ready to be used straight out of the box. Connect local display monitors, a keyboard and mouse for an easy-to-use, PC-less solution for viewing, recording and exporting footage from up to 8 cameras.

NVR

Featuring 2 x HDD bays for up to 10TB each, a total of 20TB internal storage is offered for recording video directly from the Wisenet WAVE application. View footage from up to 8 compatible Hanwha Vision cameras powered by PoE in up to 4K resolution from a local display monitor connected via HDMI or DP ports. Four USB ports facilitate use of a keyboard and mouse, as well as a convenient export option to an external storage device for quick investigation of footage. Furthermore, a stereo jack supports output for audio picked up from compatible cameras. 

Video management

The Wisenet WAVE software offers advanced monitoring and sophisticated video management features, such as an intuitive "drag & drop" tool making it easy to set up a display of live and recorded images on a single screen. The NVR can record continuously, be scheduled to record at certain times of the day or be set to trigger when a specific event or set of events occur. Enhanced bookmark management and search features such as smart, keyword and calendar options allow rapid retrieval of recorded video for speedy inspection. In addition, support for H.264 and H.265 compression formats alongside WiseStream technology which helps to minimise bandwidth and storage space.

Video analytics

Built-in analytics capabilities such as motion detection enhance scene awareness and enable users to set alerts that notify them of suspicious activity or sound in the viewing area. Trigger recordings or activate devices connected via I/O. This NVR supports AI metadata and analytics integration with Hanwha Vision AI cameras allowing for more nuanced detection of objects and accurate classification, resulting in fewer false alerts.

Installation

Designed for straightforward installation, the unit’s onboard installation wizard guides users through the setup process and a mounting bracket is included to easily rack-mount the NVR, reducing the need for specialist personnel during the integration process.

Please note: This Wisenet WAVE NVR does not come supplied with HDDs unless selected. A choice of up to two 10TB surveillance grade hard drives (fitting required) are available, which are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications.
