For a user-friendly and performant high resolution video management solution capable of delivering ultra-high definition 8K video, the PRN-3205B4 comes equipped with high-performance features such as object detection and classification, AI-enhanced search for faster footage retrieval with supported cameras, and easily configurable alarms for dynamic event detection and alerts. Supporting up to 32 cameras at 32MP each, this NVR is ideal for small to mid-sized installations that require very high resolution monitoring.

NVR

Video is written directly to the internal storage, with a total capacity of 160TB, featuring 8 SATA HDD bays in each array at up to 10TB per slot and external storage can be added via iSCSI, providing flexibility when it comes to storage requirements. Reliable hardware RAID (RAID 5 or 6) redundancy ensures monitoring is maintained around the clock even in case of failure of 1 or more HDDs.

Increase the efficiency of responding to incidents by configuring alerts to reliably trigger when events are detected by connected cameras, with the NVR supporting a variety of user notification methods, or activating local alarm networks when integrated through I/O. Simply connect monitors via 2 x HDMI ports for dual local displays and the included mouse to one of the four USB ports for a convenient, versatile PC-less video management solution. 

Video Management

The included Wisenet Viewer interface offers basic video management options such as live viewing, recording and exporting, as well as remote access from a mobile device. Snapshots and videos can be quickly saved to an external device via USB for a handy video investigation method, in addition to bookmarking which allows users to reference key footage for greater ease of access at a later point. For those who require a more advanced solution with greater customisable features, Wisenet WAVE is available via a subscription with applications for all major operating systems. 

Video Analytics

Event detection from compatible cameras is supported, meaning on-camera events or security detections can trigger actions in the NVR. These events can focus PTZ cameras onto the source of concern, and trigger alarms integrated via I/O capability. Compatible cameras in the Hanwha Vision range featuring on-board AI-driven analytics can identify attributes in video such as licence plate numbers and faces, and save these as metadata so users can then easily and quickly search for footage of interest. Overall storage efficiency is increased and bandwidth is minimised thanks to the BestShot feature, ensuring that only the most suitable images of these classified objects are sent to the server.

Installation

Measuring 583mm x 132mm x 486mm, the standalone desktop form factor means it can be easily integrated into small-scale surveillance systems without the need for extra mounting or rack accessories. The easy Install Wizard and included guide means the unit can be set up within minutes. Typical applications include retail stores, dental practices, general medical surgeries.

Please note: This Hanwha Vision NVR does not come supplied with HDDs unless selected. Optional 8 x 10TB WD Purple surveillance-grade hard drives (fitting required) can be selected from the dropdown menu above for internal storage, or the NVR can be purchased as a drive-less unit to use your own HDDs. These drives are specifically engineered for video surveillance applications, and the HDD options are sized for typical installations.
