These tubular steel tilt-down CCTV columns feature an integral lockable 325mm² slim cabinet base to house power, recording, or network equipment, removing the need for separate ground-level enclosures. Designed with concealed cabling and a flange-mounted base for stability, they are ideal for roadsides, car parks, and residential areas. The tilt-down mechanism allows engineers to safely service cameras at ground level, reducing labour, MEWP costs, and health and safety risks.

Cabinet Doors

These CCTV column cabinets come with louvered, flush-fitting doors, rubber seals, and earthing lugs. Options include a standard one-key door with a compression lock or a high security version with added locks and protective shrouds. For high-risk areas, the 4-point locking vault type door offers maximum protection with stainless steel locking, tamperproof escutcheons, and three-key access. Additional spare keys are available upon request.

Installation

These CCTV columns are available in standard heights of 4-8 metres. Foundation roots in 4-stud and 8-stud variants are also available, depending on the size of the column purchased. A range of pole-top adaptors allows flexible installation for cameras in varying orientations. Cabling is concealed within the column with built-in cable entry and exit points.

The column is raised and lowered with an optional transferable winch unit to allow servicing on towers and columns across multiple sites. The tilt mechanism is accessed via a lockable door for tamper proof installation. 

Please note: You must select a suitable foundation root/base for the column height you need. This will be delivered separately to the column, allowing you time to install it and for the concrete to set before the column can be mounted. Prior to purchase, we recommend to consult the datasheet for the advised base and windload specification required for your location, and excavate as per recommended area and depth. Cable ducts are separate.
