The Canon VB-C500VD is an indoor fixed dome IP camera designed to be installed in areas at risk of vandalism. With an aluminium alloy chassis, an impact-resistant polycarbonate dome bubble and internal camera parts mounted on springs to absorb vibration, the Canon VB-C500VB is ideal for high risk environments.

Using superior Canon optics the VB-C500VD delivers a high quality image and with a progressive scan CCD sensor moving people and objects are captured without the blurring related with interlaced video. With a 30fps frame-rate the Canon VB-C500VD delivers smooth TV-like motion without missing important details of events between frames.

The Canon VB-C500VD provides exceptional low-light performance with colour images that require only 0.2 lux of light and a digital night mode can enable viewing down to 0.1 lux in black and white. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Canon VB-C500VD IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
