The Canon VB-C500D is a fixed dome network security camera which benefits from Canon’s experience in optical technology to provide class leading, high quality surveillance images with vivid colour reproduction. Suitable for professional security applications the Canon VB-C500D is compact, unobtrusive and simple to install.

With full frame rate progressive video at 30 frames per second the Canon VB-C500D is ideal for security applications with fast moving subjects. With an ultra bright Canon lens the VB-C500D performs well in low-light conditions and can capture colour images with only 0.2 lux of light and an automatic digital night mode low-light performance is boosted further with a monochrome night vision image.

Simple and easy to install, the Canon VB-C500D is compatible with Power over Ethernet allowing for just one network cable to carry both power and data. Like all IP cameras available from Network Webcams, the Canon VB-C500D IP security camera has a built-in web server and can be viewed over a Local Area Network (LAN), Wide Area Network (WAN) or via the Internet as a streaming IP webcam.
