The Arecont Vision D4S-AV5115DN-3312 IP security camera is capable of recording high quality and high resolution 5 megapixel video at up to 14 frames per second. Using its pixel binning technology, the camera groups pixels in order to capture clear imagery even in difficult lighting conditions. A compact dome design allows the camera to be installed unobtrusively in any indoor location.
The camera is able to operate around the clock through use of a built-in infrared-cut filter which allows switching between full colour and black and white imagery when used with an infrared light source (sold separately). The camera's Moonlight mode increases light sensitivity by adjusting shutter speed in reaction to low-light, helping to maintain image clarity in changing light conditions. PSIA compliance allows the camera to be integrated with third-party accessories such as recording software and network video recorders, allowing flexibility when building a surveillance network.
