Overview of the Allied Telesis AT-GS950/8
This Gigabit Ethernet switch by Allied Telesis features web-based management and eight 10/100/1000T ports. Additionally, two Gigabit SFP combo ports are included for fibre media support.
The cost-effective WebSmart switch combines the simplicity of unmanaged switches with the high-performance and reliability of managed switches. It offers a range of simple management features including port-based VLANs, IEEE 802.1p, port trunking/link aggregation and port mirroring. These features, alongside support for up to 4K MAC addresses and a 128K packet buffer, provide an ideal solution for the integration of management into a network solution.
The switch is simple to setup and can be mounted onto a desktop, wall or rack for fast and flexible installation.
The eco-friendly switch includes power-saving features such as an overnight mode, high-efficiency power supply and a low power chipset to help minimise power consumption. Additionally, it features a fanless design that provides quiet operation.
