Overview of the Allied Telesis AT-GS950/10PS

The Allied Telesis AT-GS950/10PS Gigabit Ethernet WebSmart switch features two Gigabit ports, two SFP combo ports, and eight PoE+ ports delivering up to 30 Watts per port to support video surveillance and security cameras, wireless access points, IP phones and other PoE powered devices (4 x standard PoE, 2 x High PoE). The PoE option eliminates the need for power rewiring and minimises the clutter of power supplies and adapters in awkward places. Thanks to its compact size, the AT-GS950/10PS is ideal for wiring-constrained and smaller environments such as micro branch offices, classrooms, cafes, and smaller retail stores.

Allied Telesis' WebSmart switches integrate the ease of use of unmanaged switches with the reliability and performance of managed switches (in this case GUI-managed), providing a cost-effective solution for management at the network edge. Some simple management features are available in this switch including port-based VLANs, IEEE 802.1p, QoS, port trunking/link aggregation, port mirroring and priority queues.
